”Tributaries” is an original acrylic painting on 11"x14” canvas panel, completed in September 2020. It began as the artist’s palette for a larger acrylic triptych (“Estuaries,” 2020), a purpose preserved in its title. The palette was then enhanced with more deliberate strokes, but much of the original textures and spontaneities from the color mixing process remain visible.
